Het zijn slechts twee voorbeelden van hoe pati\u00ebnten in Nederland aan hun cannabis komen voor medicinaal gebruik. Volgens cijfers van het <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trimbos.nl\/actueel\/nieuws\/cannabis-als-medicijn-het-medusa-onderzoek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trimbos-instituut <\/a>zijn in Nederland meer dan 130.000 mensen die cannabis gebruiken voor medicinale doeleinden. Daarvan krijgen minder dan 7.000 pati\u00ebnten cannabis voorgeschreven door een arts. De meesten kopen dus hun cannabis op andere plekken zoals de coffeeshop of kweken het zelf.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1676276622051{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<p class=\"NormalText\">Om te snappen hoe de toegang en aanbod tot <a href=\"https:\/\/bedrocan.com\/contact-bedrocan\/faqs\/?faq-item=what-is-medicinal-cannabis-oil\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">medicinale cannabis<\/a> verbeterd kan worden, houdt het Trimbos-instituut een onafhankelijke enqu\u00eate onder cannabisgebruikers. <span class=\"NormalTextChar\">De online vragenlijst staat inmiddels online. <\/span>Het onderzoeks- en kennisinstituut op het gebied van mentale gezondheid en <span class=\"NormalTextChar\">middelengebruik brengt op die manier de behoeften en wensen van pati\u00ebnten in kaart<\/span>. Bedrocan financiert het onderzoek.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1676276759298{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<h3>Stem van pati\u00ebnten<\/h3>\n<p class=\"NormalText\">Volgens Trimbos-onderzoeker en projectleider Lisa Strada is het algemeen bekend dat pati\u00ebnten<b> <\/b>wiet, hasj, wietolie of andere cannabisproducten gebruiken om lichamelijke of psychische klachten te verminderen. Strada: \u201cOp basis van meer recente bevindingen zijn er zelfs bijna een half miljoen mensen die op cannabis gebaseerde producten gebruiken voor medicinale doeleinden. Van deze mensen gebruikt 50% CBD-producten, waaronder CBD-producten van drogisterijen.\u201d Strada vervolgt: \u201cMet dit onderzoek willen we deze pati\u00ebnten een stem geven. Pati\u00ebntgerichte zorg betekent dat de behoefte van de pati\u00ebnt de drijvende kracht is achter zorgbeslissingen. En terwijl dit in andere zorgsectoren de norm is, blijft de behandeling met medicinale cannabis wat dat betreft achter&#8221;.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;136186&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1676276866002{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<p class=\"NormalText\">In Nederland kunnen sinds 2003 pati\u00ebnten cannabis op doktersrecept bij de apotheek verkrijgen. Chief Scientific Officer Mikael Kowal van Bedrocan: \u201cOndanks dat er al twintig jaar medicinale cannabis beschikbaar is in Nederland, halen de meeste personen hun producten niet bij een apotheek. Het is belangrijk om te begrijpen waarom zoveel mensen de onoffici\u00eble route kiezen. Welke belemmeringen ervaren ze? Is de cannabis uit de apotheek te duur, willen artsen het niet voorschijven, of ontbreken er specifieke producten. Het is gissen. We weten het nu niet.\u201d<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1676277050012{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<p class=\"NormalText\">Kowal hoopt dat de uitkomst leidt tot verandering: \u201cWe zullen strategie\u00ebn moeten bedenken om tegemoet te komen aan de behoeften van pati\u00ebnten die nu cannabis uit niet-offici\u00eble bronnen gebruiken. Het streven moet zijn dat meer pati\u00ebnten in Nederland gestandaardiseerde, gecontroleerde en veilige cannabis gebruiken, in plaats van producten van niet-geverifieerde kwaliteit.\u201d<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1676277097535{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<h3>Medusa Onderzoek<\/h3>\n<p>Het eerste onderdeel van het Medusa-onderzoek is een online vragenlijst. Invullen duurt 10-15 minuten en deelnemers maken kans op 200 euro. Dit soort vragen worden gesteld:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tegen welke klachten gebruik je cannabis?<\/li>\n<li>Welke cannabisproducten gebruik je?<\/li>\n<li>Hoe goed werkt cannabis tegen je klachten?<\/li>\n<li>Waarom gebruik je geen cannabis op doktersrecept?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Na de vragenlijst kunnen deelnemers meedoen aan vervolgonderzoeken. Het ene is een online interview en voor het andere kunnen ze een beetje van hun cannabis opsturen. Ze kunnen \u00e9\u00e9n van deze vervolgonderzoeken kiezen of allebei. Deelname is vrijwillig. Het cannabisprogramma bestaat nu twintig jaar in Nederland, waarbij de Nederlandse overheid verantwoordelijk is voor de productie en distributie van cannabis. Bedrocan is door de overheid gecontracteerd om deze cannabis volgens strikte richtlijnen te kweken en is alleen verkrijgbaar op doktersrecept. Daarnaast zijn ook tal van producten met\u00a0CBD\u00a0vrij te koop bij drogisterijen en via het internet.
