Bedrocan is namelijk een eigen cannabisonderzoekscentrum gestart waar klinisch onderzoek verricht gaat worden naar de werking van de eigen cannabisproducten, die geproduceerd worden in opdracht van de Nederlandse overheid. De Nederlandse cannabino\u00efden-onderzoeker Matthijs Bossong is aangetrokken om het onderzoekscentrum Clinical Research Unit in Utrecht te leiden.<\/p>\n<p>De Clinical Research Unit was een lang gekoesterde wens van Bedrocan\u2019s Chief Scientific Officer Mikael Kowal: \u2018Er wordt wereldwijd veel onderzoek gedaan met de door ons geproduceerde cannabisproducten, maar het zijn de onderzoekers die bepalen wat er onderzocht wordt. Door ons eigen onderzoek te doen, bepalen wij de richting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>De eerste studie is al goedgekeurd door de medisch ethische commissie. Mikael: \u201cWe nemen de producten <a href=\"https:\/\/bedrocan.com\/nl\/cannabis-producten\/\">Bedrocan<\/a>\u00ae en <a href=\"https:\/\/bedrocan.com\/nl\/cannabis-producten\/\">Bediol<\/a>\u00ae onder de loep. De studie zal de risicofactoren van het gebruik van cannabis bepalen en hopelijk dienen als een leidraad voor pati\u00ebnten over hoe ze deze producten veilig kunnen gebruiken, d.w.z. op een manier die geen angst of psychotische symptomen veroorzaakt.\u201d[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][mk_padding_divider][vc_single_image image=&#8221;140487&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; add_caption=&#8221;yes&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][mk_padding_divider][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1707912096988{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<h2>Chronische pijn<\/h2>\n<p>Het plan voor de toekomst is om een samenhangend klinisch onderzoeksprogramma samen te stellen dat een specifieke medische indicatie aanpakt, zoals <a href=\"https:\/\/bedrocan.com\/nl\/zorgverleners\/aandoeningen\/\">chronische neuropathische pijn<\/a>. Matthijs Bossong hierover: \u201cDoor mijn jarenlange ervaring als onderzoeker ben ik er van overtuigd dat medicinale cannabis kan helpen bij bepaalde aandoeningen, waaronder chronische pijn. Het probleem met klinisch onderzoek met cannabis is echter dat er grote verschillen bestaan tussen de onderzoeken. Zo kunnen de toedieningswijze, dosering en cannabissamenstelling vari\u00ebren, waardoor de resultaten lastig te interpreteren zijn. We gaan onderzoek doen met de gestandaardiseerde producten van\u00a0 Bedrocan, wat hopelijk zal bijdragen aan de bereidheid van artsen om medicinale cannabis voor te schrijven.\u201d[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][mk_padding_divider][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1707912132346{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<h2>Cannabisonderzoekscentrum<\/h2>\n<p>CEO Jaap Erkelens is zeer tevreden met de opening van het cannabisonderzoekscentrum: \u201cWe kunnen nu gericht onderzoek doen naar de effecten van de cannabisproducten die wij in opdracht van de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cannabisbureau.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nederlandse overheid<\/a> produceren. Dat is de enige manier om bij regelgevende instanties offici\u00eble erkenning te krijgen voor veiligheid en werkzaamheid van onze producten.
