Pati\u00ebnten kunnen zich opgeven via een speciale website van de afdeling anesthesiologie. Hoofdonderzoeker professor Albert Dahan wil aantonen dat medicinale cannabis in combinatie met het opiaatmiddel oxycodon een meerwaarde kan hebben bij het bestrijden van pijn.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1571139237761{padding-right: 45px !important;padding-left: 45px !important;background-color: #f5f5f5 !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][mk_padding_divider size=&#8221;25&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1700578859671{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Bediol<\/h2>\n<p>In de studie wordt het cannabisproduct Bediol\u00ae gebruikt dat zowel de cannabino\u00efden THC (6.3%) als CBD (8% CBD) bevat. Er zijn drie onderzoeksgroepen: \u00e9\u00e9n groep krijgt uitsluitend oxycodon, een pijnstiller op basis van opium, de tweede Bediol in combinatie met oxycodon en de derde onderzoeksgroep krijgt uitsluitend Bediol. \u00a0Het onderzoek wordt uitgevoerd door de afdeling anesthesiologie en wordt deels gefinancierd door Bedrocan.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bedrocan.com\/nl\/fibromyalgiepatienten-gezocht-voor-nieuw-cannabisonderzoek-lumc\/\" name=\"_ftn1\"><\/a>[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=&#8221;25&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][mk_padding_divider size=&#8221;25&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1700578965869{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<h2><strong>Co-medicatie met Bediol\u00ae<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Het hoofddoel van de studie is om te beoordelen of comedicatie met Bediol de bijwerkingen van oxycodon bij chronische pijnpati\u00ebnten kan verminderen. De studie zal meerdere jaren duren. Volgens de professor wordt het een complexe studie omdat de pati\u00ebnt zelf mag bepalen welke dosering wordt genomen. \u201cWij geven wel een maximum aan, maar daar binnen mogen pati\u00ebnten zelf bepalen wat ze gebruiken.\u201d Het onderzoek vindt bij de pati\u00ebnten thuis plaats. Ze krijgen een verdamper waarmee de cannabis kan worden genuttigd. \u201cDeze opzet zal zeker slagen omdat onze onderzoeker continue in contact zal staan met de pati\u00ebnten.\u201d[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row visibility=&#8221;hidden-sm&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1481723875288{padding-top: 15px !important;padding-bottom: 15px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1700578866864{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<h2>American Society of Anesthesiologist<\/h2>\n<p>Professor Albert Dahan kreeg afgelopen jaar veel reacties op een eerdere studie naar de werking van medicinale cannabis bij de behandeling van chronische pijn bij fibromyalgie. Een artikel hierover verscheen eind 2018 in het tijdschrift PAIN. Dahan: \u201cZo werd ik recentelijk aangeschreven door een reumatoloog uit Canada, die de resultaten gaat gebruiken voor het opzetten van richtlijnen voor het gebruik van cannabis als medicijn. Ik was daar erg van onder de indruk.\u201d Ook ontving hij onlangs op de jaarlijkse conferentie van de American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA), waarvoor hij gevraagd was om te spreken, positieve reacties op zijn eerdere studieresultaten.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][mk_padding_divider size=&#8221;25&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;33116&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; add_caption=&#8221;yes&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][mk_padding_divider size=&#8221;25&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1574946342284{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\u201cZelfs in een land als Amerika, waar in de meeste staten een vorm van cannabis is gelegaliseerd, weten pijnartsen niet hoe ze medicinale cannabis moeten voorschrijven of doseren.
