Dit is de eerste keer dat een producent van medicinale cannabis een dergelijke hoge mate van naleving weet te bereiken. De productiefaciliteiten van Bedrocan in Canada en de Tsjechische Republiek zullen naar verwachting uiterlijk volgend jaar aan de standaard voldoen.<\/p>\n<p>GMP is de hoogste standaard waaraan een producent van geneesmiddelen ten aanzien van zijn productieproces moet voldoen. De GMP-status van Bedrocan is een garantie voor de hoogste kwaliteit op het gebied van het kweek- en verpakkingsproces.<\/p>\n<h2>Belangrijke erkenning<\/h2>\n<p>Tjalling Erkelens, bestuursvoorzitter van Bedrocan International: \u201cDit is een belangrijke erkenning. We hebben er altijd naar gestreefd aan de hoogste farmaceutische standaarden te voldoen. Onze manier van werken wordt nu officieel door de autoriteiten erkend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bedrocan produceert al sinds 2003 gestandaardiseerde medicinale cannabis als actief farmaceutisch ingredi\u00ebnt (API). Het is het enige bedrijf ter wereld dat in staat is medicinale cannabis flos (de hele, gedroogde bloem) te produceren met een constant gehalte aan cannabino\u00efden en terpenen.<\/p>\n<p>De in Nederland geproduceerde medicinale cannabis van Bedrocan wordt geleverd aan pati\u00ebnten en onderzoekers in Nederland, Duitsland, Finland, Isra\u00ebl, Itali\u00eb, Macedoni\u00eb en Polen. In Australi\u00eb wordt het product gebruikt in het eerste Australische klinisch onderzoek\u00a0naar het verdampen van cannabis.<\/p>\n<h2>Voorgedoseerde verdamper<\/h2>\n<p>Perry Davidson, CEO en oprichter van Syqe Medical in Isra\u00ebl, een bedrijf dat voor haar voorgedoseerde verdamper gebruik maakt van medicinale cannabis van Bedrocan, zegt: \u201cSyqe Medical heeft de eerste verdamper ontwikkeld die in staat is medicinale cannabis aan te bieden op het precisieniveau van traditionele geneesmiddelen. Cruciaal hierbij is het gestandaardiseerde product en de onge\u00ebvenaarde kwaliteit van Bedrocan. Daardoor kunnen wij farmaceutische kwaliteit bieden.
