From a standardised flower to a standardised concentrate
From medically established, standardised Bedrocan® flowers, a plantidentical cannabis concentrate is produced with a documented composition. The characteristic cannabinoid and terpene profile of the Bedrocan® flower is transferred into a standardised concentrate form. The concentrate enables the preparation of flexible, patient-specific formulations in various dosage forms: oral, inhalative, rectal or topical.

Becanex PIEX Bedrocan® can be used to formulate a wide variety of THC active ingredient strengths in different dosage forms in the pharmacy. Its flowable viscosity simplifies the production process, eliminating the need for timeconsuming heating of the product.
Vaporization
Becanex PIEX Bedrocan® | 70 % THC concentrate is the first plant-identical cannabis concentrate in the pharmaceutical sector specifically suitable for vaporization. It enables fast-acting inhalation therapy with rapid onset of effect, while meeting the strict quality requirements of the DAB monograph ‘Cannabis extractum normatum’ and Ph. Eur. 5.1.4 for inhalation use.
Oily solutions
Patient-specific, customised extracts with varying strengths can be achieved by diluting the concentrate with MCT oil, for example. When combined with Becanex PIEX | 62 % CBD concentrate, personalised extracts can be formulated. This approach is both patient-specific and pharmacy-friendly.
Capsule production
The high concentration of the product allows for the production of high-dose capsules, enabling patient-specific formulations while reducing the number of capsules needed for higher THC doses.
Suppository production
Becanex PIEX Bedrocan® | 70 % THC concentrate also allows for the production of suppositories for medical use. This targeted local application in the rectal and vaginal areas offers additional therapeutic possibilities.
Topical preparations
Becanex PIEX concentrates can be used to produce topical preparations for the treatment of skin conditions and pain states.
