Cannabis Products
Today, Bedrocan produces multiple cannabis products or plant varieties for medicine development, patients and clinical use. Each cannabis product is standardised according to pharmaceutical standards with a defined active ingredient composition. Every stage of the manufacturing process is GMP-certified (good manufacturing practice). GMP is a requirement of the pharmaceutical industry and it ensures consistency in active ingredients, which can affect a medicine’s safety and efficacy.
Our cannabis products are independently tested for desired properties by a specialised laboratory. The products currently available are listed below.
Bedrolina®

Introduced in 2024, Bedrolina® is the brand name for the cultivar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Janna’.
Cannabis sativa L. ‘Janna’ was developed to supply a higher CBD variety that facilitates the manufacturing of CBD extracts and CBD finished products. Bedrolina® has a standardised content of 14% CBD and <1% THC. This product is available in industrial form but the possibility of supplying this product in different forms can be discussed with our business team.

Bedropuur®
THC 20% | CBD <1.0%
Indica
Flos – Cut flos – Industrial*
Introduced in 2014, Bedropuur® is the brand name for the cultivar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Harmina’. It is a high-THC indica dominant strain. It has a distinct terpene profile. This strain was originally developed as a raw material for the manufacturing of high-THC extracts. This product is produced in our facility in Denmark.
Bedrocan®

Sativa
Flos – Cut flos – Industrial*
Introduced in 2003, Bedrocan® is the brand name for the cultivar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Afina’.
Cannabis sativa L. ‘Afina’ is the first cultivar developed and it features 22% THC, with a CBD-level below 1%. It’s the most widely used medicinal cannabis product and has been used in more research than other products.

Bedrobinol®

Sativa

Introduced in 2005, Bedrobinol® is the brand name for the cultivar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Ludina’.
Cannabis sativa L. ‘Ludina’ is bred in-house by Bedrocan. Its THC-level can be considered medium strength, standardised at 13.5%, with a CBD-level below 1 %.
Bedrobinol® is available in multiple forms: flos, cut flos and industrial*.
Bediol®
THC 6.3% | CBD 8%
Sativa
Cut flos – Industrial*
Introduced in 2007, Bediol® is the brand name for the cultivar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Elida’.
Cannabis sativa L. ‘Elida’ is one of the first cannabis cultivars developed specifically to have a higher CBD content. The effects of CBD are distinctly different from THC.
Bediol® has a balanced ratio of THC 6.3% and CBD 8%. Because it is easily tolerated, physicians often prescribe Bediol® for patients who previously have not used cannabis as a medicine. The ‘Elida’ cultivar was bred in-house by Bedrocan, specifically to meet the needs of patients.
Bedica ®

Indica
Cut flos – Industrial*
Introduced in 2011, Bedica® is the brand name for the indica cultivar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Talea’.
Characteristic differences between indica and sativa cultivars can be found in the presence of aromatic compounds (terpenes) in the plant. Bedica® contains a high amount of the myrcene terpene, which is known to have a calming effect.
Bedica® contains 14% THC with less than 1% CBD.
Bedrolite®
THC <1.0% | CBD 7.5%
Sativa
Cut flos – Industrial*
Introduced in 2014, Bedrolite® is the brand name for the cultivar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Rensina’.
Cannabis sativa L. ‘Rensina’ is a so-called CBD-only product, with less than 1% THC and 7.5% CBD. Due to the extremely low levels of THC, it has no intoxicating properties. Bedrolite® has become the preferred choice of a number of patients with severe, intractable (untreatable) forms of epilepsy.

Are you a patient?
Patients cannot order medicinal cannabis directly from Bedrocan. Bedrocan’s medicinal cannabis products can only be obtained at a local pharmacy with a valid doctor’s prescription.
