Medicinal cannabis products
Bedrocan produces multiple medicinal cannabis products (chemovars*), and in different forms for medicine development, clinical research, and patient use via medicinal cannabis programmes. Each medicinal cannabis product is fully standardised and has a defined genetic, cannabinoid, and terpene profile. Every stage of the manufacturing process is GMP-certified (good manufacturing practice). GMP is a requirement for the pharmaceutical industry to ensure the quality and safety of medicines.
Our medicinal cannabis products are independently tested by a specialised laboratory for the required specifications. The products currently available are listed below.
Bedrolina®

Indica
Flos – Cut flos – Industrial
Introduced in 2024, Bedrolina® is the brand name for the chemovar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Janna’.
Cannabis sativa L. ‘Janna’ was developed to supply a higher CBD variety that facilitates the manufacturing of CBD extracts and CBD finished products. It has a standardised content of 14% CBD and <1% THC.
Bedrolina® is available in multiple forms: flos, cut flos, and industrial.
A terpene profile is not available yet.
Bedropuur®
THC 20% | CBD <1.0%
Indica
Flos – Cut flos – Industrial
Introduced in 2014, Bedropuur® is the brand name for the chemovar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Harmina’. It is a high-THC chemovar with a distinct terpene profile. This chemovar was originally developed as a raw material for the manufacturing of high-THC extracts.
Bedropuur® is available in multiple forms: flos, cut flos, and industrial.
Bedrocan®

Sativa

Introduced in 2003, Bedrocan® is the brand name for the chemovar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Afina’.
Cannabis sativa L. ‘Afina’ is the first chemovar produced by Bedrocan, with the first seed grown in the early 1990s. It is the medicinal cannabis product most widely used in clinical research.
Bedrocan® is available in multiple forms: flos, cut flos, and industrial.
Bedrobinol®
THC 13.5% | CBD <1.0%
Sativa
Flos – Cut flos – Industrial
Introduced in 2005, Bedrobinol® is the brand name for the chemovar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Ludina’.
It was developed in order to supply a product with a medium-high THC content.
Bedrobinol® is available in multiple forms: flos, cut flos, and industrial.
Bediol®
THC 6.3% | CBD 8.8%
Sativa
Cut flos – Industrial
Introduced in 2007, Bediol® is the brand name for the chemovar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Elida’.
Cannabis sativa L. ‘Elida’ is one of the first chemovar developed specifically to have a higher CBD content. It has a balanced ratio of 6.3% THC and 8.8% CBD.
Bediol® is available in cut flos and industrial forms.
Bedica ®

Indica

Introduced in 2011, Bedica® is the brand name for the chemovar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Talea’.
It was developed as an indica-type product with a medium strength level of THC. It contains 14.4% THC with less than 1% CBD.
Bedica® is available in multiple forms: flos, cut flos, and industrial.
Bedrolite®
THC <1.0% | CBD 8.1%
Sativa
Cut flos – Industrial
Introduced in 2014, Bedrolite® is the brand name for the cultivar Cannabis sativa L. ‘Rensina’.
Cannabis sativa L. ‘Rensina’ is a so-called CBD-only product, with less than 1% THC and 8.1% CBD. It is considered a CBD-rich product due to its very low levels of THC, and higher levels of CBD.
Bedrolite® is available in cut flos, and industrial forms
Product forms
Flos
Cannabis flos is the whole, dried inflorescence of the cannabis plant. Our cannabis flos products are fully standardised, with a defined cannabinoid composition.
Cut flos
Cut flos is the cannabis flower that has been reduced in size, other than by powdering. The reduction in size increases the homogeneity of the product and allows for easier use.
Industrial
The industrial product consists of whole, dried cannabis flowers, including some minor leaf material. The industrial product is available in all our chemovars and is a versatile option of starting material for further processing (i.e. extraction).
Are you a patient?
Patients cannot order medicinal cannabis directly from Bedrocan. Bedrocan’s medicinal cannabis products can only be obtained at a local pharmacy with a valid doctor’s prescription.
